About this role
WSP seeks a Senior Engineer - Hydrogeologist to lead project delivery in groundwater assessments and dewatering systems. Ensure compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards while coordinating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development.
Lead hydrogeological groundwater assessments, evaluating groundwater rise and long-term infrastructure impacts. Interpret packer tests, falling/rising head tests, and pumping test data for aquifer parameters and well performance. Develop and calibrate 3D groundwater flow models using MODFLOW, MT3DMS, GMS, or FEFLOW.
Design construction dewatering systems and long-term groundwater control solutions. Prepare design calculations, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documentation. Perform water balance assessments and apply GIS tools like ArcGIS with Python/FloPy for data analysis.

Requirements
- Strong leadership, project management, and client-facing experience
- Proven ability to manage teams and deliver complex groundwater projects successfully
- 8–15+ years of experience in hydrogeological engineering, groundwater modelling, and dewatering design
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hydrogeology, Civil Engineering (Water Resources), or related field
- Experience with GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) and Python/FloPy for data analysis and modelling
- Proficiency in developing and calibrating groundwater models like MODFLOW and FEFLOW
