Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Remediation Engineer or Geologist with oil and gas sector experience to help grow contaminated site assessment and remediation services.
In this position you will contribute to innovative and challenging environmental projects including financial and technical evaluation, detailed design, permitting, and construction stages.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in geology, or environmental, civil, or chemical engineering
- At least 5 years of direct environmental consulting experience
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to environmental remediation and vapor intrusion
- Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment handling multiple project assignments and meeting strict deadlines
Responsibilities
- Manage tasks and projects including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting, schedule adherence, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability
- Perform and manage contaminated site assessments and remedy evaluation including investigation work plans, feasibility studies, and remedy design
- Perform and manage site assessment fieldwork and pilot and bench-scale programs for soil, soil vapor, and groundwater technologies
- Prepare remediation action plans for soil, soil vapor, and groundwater projects including drawings, engineering analyses, and technical specifications
- Prepare technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, and proposals
- Manage and mentor junior staff and manage subcontractors while meeting contract schedules and regulatory compliance
- Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties
- Support lead generation, business development, and help broaden reputation via publishing and visibility at industry conferences
