About this role

ICF is seeking a Florida-licensed Professional Geologist to join our Environment & Planning team on an on-call basis. This role involves applying geologic principles and interdisciplinary scientific knowledge to support environmental planning projects and resource evaluation.

You will primarily perform Oil, Gas, and Mineral (OGM) assessments for less-than-fee easement acquisitions, evaluating the presence and development potential of mineral resources. Your work will involve analyzing data from the Florida DEP, geologic maps, and lithologic boring reports to prepare technical reports with GIS map exhibits.

You will collaborate with a skilled team of environmental planners, regulatory experts, compliance specialists, biologists, and aquatic resource specialists. The position is based in Florida with flexibility for remote or hybrid work within the state.

As an on-call employee, you have the freedom to accept or decline hours and can work on concurrent projects outside of ICF, provided there is no conflict of interest. This arrangement suits professionals seeking flexible, project-based work in the geosciences field.
