The Senior-Level Geologist will design and execute site characterization projects for the Irvine or Emeryville, CA office. This role involves developing work scopes and budgets while managing internal staff and subcontractors. Strong leadership and communication skills support growth in the Irvine office and California practice.

Day-to-day work includes directing small to regional multi-disciplined projects and developing technical approaches for site characterization. Responsibilities encompass preparing proposals, managing budgets, and communicating with clients and stakeholders. Field oversight ensures precision in environmental drilling and sampling.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of related work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Geology or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Professional registration in California as a Geologist (P.G.) and/or Hydrogeologist (C.H.G.) or Engineer (P.E.)
  • Extensive experience overseeing environmental drilling programs and sampling environmental media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
