At Alcoa, join a permanent Graduate Hydrogeologist role starting with a three-year customised development program. Rotate across the Perth corporate office and bauxite mine sites in the Peel and Upper Southwest regions. Develop expertise in hydrogeological aspects of short-term and long-term mine planning, groundwater monitoring plans, and drilling programs for evaluation and monitoring well installation. Manage drainage control plans, conduct in situ aquifer tests, and work with groundwater models. Achieve ultimate balance without missing out on practical fieldwork.

Requirements

Responsibilities
- Support hydrogeological aspects of both short-term and long-term mine planning
- Develop groundwater monitoring plans
- Manage drilling programs for groundwater evaluation and monitoring well installation
- Prepare drainage control management plans
- Conduct in situ aquifer tests and develop groundwater models
