Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Environmental Engineer or Geologist to join our growing team in a leadership role. You will work with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams, tackling meaningful challenges in the built and natural environments to build stronger communities.

In this position, you will oversee day-to-day management of multi-disciplinary project teams, focusing on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety. You will lead large, complex, or high-risk projects with multiple integrated services, ensuring they meet project, client, and regulatory objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field.
  • 15-20+ years of related local Bay Area consulting experience including direct project management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently lead project teams to achieve project and client goals and objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen.
  • Proficient computer literacy including use of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint).
  • Demonstrated strong technical competence and knowledge of codes, regulations, and professional standards of practice.
  • Ability to plan all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day management of multi-disciplinary project teams with a focus on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety.
  • Lead large, complex, or high-risk projects with multiple integrated services, ensuring they are executed to meet project, client, and regulatory objectives.
  • Hold primary responsibility for all aspects of the project life cycle including cost estimating and proposal preparation, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, project planning, execution, document preparation and review, and financial management.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams and supporting field teams, providing oversight and observing health and safety processes and procedures.
  • Regularly communicate with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Direct, coach, and support staff to ensure high-quality project execution, focusing on developing team skills for professional growth and delivering comprehensive technical reports and deliverables.
  • Plan and manage site characterization programs and coordinate field investigations.
  • Lead project teams in technical evaluation and interpretation of site characterization and geologic data, develop conceptual site models, and work with multidisciplinary team members to assess impact on project goals.
