About this role
Langan provides expert land development engineering and environmental consulting services for major developers, renewable energy producers, energy companies, and large infrastructure programs. The firm seeks a Project Environmental Scientist, Geologist, Engineer or Hydrogeologist to join its collaborative team. This role involves managing environmental investigation and remediation projects while delivering technically excellent services.
Daily responsibilities include performing complex analyses for engineering and environmental projects, supervising field activities, and ensuring correct interpretations of findings. Manage and deliver multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Prepare technical proposals, reports, conduct environmental research, and analyses.
Interact with clients, supervise field investigations, and manage staff across office locations and disciplines. Provide direct oversight of junior staff, coach, train, and motivate them on environmental projects. Interface effectively with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and project personnel.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering
- LEED AP or PE certification
- 6+ years of related work experience
- Proficient in environmental due diligence
- Knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related software
- Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and technical analyses
Responsibilities
- Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects
- Perform complex analyses for specific portions of broader engineering and environmental projects
- Supervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations of findings
- Manage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines
- Effectively organize, write and edit draft proposals, reports and other documents
- Participate in the identification and pursuit of new clients and develop additional work within existing projects
- Provide direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments
- Coordinate other work groups across office locations and disciplines
