About this role

Aurecon seeks a capable and motivated Senior Contaminated Land Consultant for its Queensland Environment and Planning team. The role offers diverse, interesting and challenging work across built environment, transport, land and water, energy and government sectors. Join a team with strong capability from project planning and feasibility to design and construction on projects across Queensland and Australia.

You will design, manage and deliver large contaminated land projects while developing and implementing Sampling Analysis and Quality Plans. Coordinate and lead fieldwork campaigns including soil, groundwater and surface water sampling, supervision of drilling, test pitting and groundwater well installation. Manage field programs with premobilisation and safety planning.

Work in a committed team in the Brisbane or Mackay office with a unique opportunity amid current and projected workload. Collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams, liaise with clients and regulators, and provide coaching and mentoring to graduate team members. Prepare high quality analysis and technical reports to ASC NEPM requirements.

Requirements

  • Capable and motivated with keen interest to advance career
  • Background as Contaminated Land Consultant, Scientist or Engineer
  • Confident with data management and software
  • Solid technical writing capability
  • Ability to develop reports to exceptional technical and editorial standard
  • Genuine passion for re-imagining problems
  • Commitment to continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Design, manage and deliver large contaminated land projects
