GSI is seeking a Senior-Level Geologist for the Irvine or Emeryville, CA office. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience designing and executing site characterization projects, developing work scopes and budgets. They will manage internal staff and subcontractors while communicating with clients and stakeholders.

The role involves directing small to regional multi-disciplined projects and providing technical training to junior staff for precise field tasks. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills support growth in the Irvine office and California practice. Work directly with clients to identify needs and communicate results.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of related work experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Geology or related field required, Master’s Degree or above preferred
  • Professional registration in California as a Geologist (P.G.) and/or Hydrogeologist (C.H.G.) or Engineer (P.E.)
  • Extensive experience overseeing environmental drilling programs and sampling environmental media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

Responsibilities
