Join our growing Contaminated Land and Water team out of the Brisbane office as a Consultant Environmental Scientist. Plan and deliver field investigations across sites including soil, groundwater and surface water assessments. Act as on-site representative, prepare reports and support project managers with clear communications.
Work alongside more than 45 land and water professionals across Australia actively invested in mentoring, collaboration and long-term career development. Requirements
- 1-3 years consulting experience in contaminated land
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or related disciplines
- Solid understanding of QLD and national environmental frameworks
- Confidence in planning and conducting contaminated site investigations
- Experience in soil, groundwater and surface water assessments
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver field investigations across a variety of sites including soil, groundwater, and surface water assessments
- Prepare clear and high-quality reports
- Act as the representative/client contact on site
- Attend business development meetings
- Support project managers and ensure open and clear communications when in the field
