A Senior Hydrogeologist role in the Water Resource Science team offers permanent opportunity based in Leederville office.

You'll provide hydrogeological expertise relating to water source, water quality and treated wastewater management planning, investigation and operations. Support asset planning, delivery and operations to address complex problems and technical innovation. Deliver high-quality assessments and advice consistent with industry best practice.

Requirements

  • Geology, hydrogeology or relevant equivalent degree
  • Proven ability to prepare, review and present technical information to a range of stakeholders
  • Experience in groundwater modelling
  • Experience in public water supply and wastewater management
  • Experience in managed aquifer recharge
  • Experience in water resource allocation planning and licensing
  • Experience in construction of production, recharge, and monitoring wells
  • Experience in subsurface data management

Responsibilities

  • Provide hydrogeological expertise to the business and external stakeholders relating to water source, water quality and treated wastewater management planning, regulatory negotiations, investigations and operations
  • Support asset planning, delivery and operations to address complex water source, water quality and treated wastewater management problems and technical innovation
  • Deliver a range of high-quality assessments and advice consistent with industry best practice approaches
  • Conduct groundwater modelling for water resource management
  • Manage public water supply and wastewater operations
  • Oversee managed aquifer recharge projects
  • Handle water resource allocation planning and licensing
  • Supervise construction of production, recharge, and monitoring wells
