About this role

We have an exciting new opportunity for Early-Career Hydrogeologists / Environmental Scientists / Engineers to join our teams. You will apply your skills to a range of projects involving contaminated land assessment and sustainable remediation, EHS due diligence and ESG compliance. Supporting national and international clients across sectors including manufacturing, energy and renewables, food and beverages, and the financial sector.

Key responsibilities include field work during site investigation and remediation projects with up to 75% fieldwork and 40% overnight travel. Perform aquifer testing, hydrogeologic data analysis, chemical data evaluation, and contaminant fate & transport assessment. Assist with data analysis/visualisation preparing tables, maps, and figures using industry-standard and cutting-edge applications, plus environmental due diligence and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, geochemistry, environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field of study
  • Advanced degree in a related field of study (desirable)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license for the UK, and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
  • Right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field work during site investigation and remediation projects, including sample collection and contractor oversight
  • Perform aquifer testing and hydrogeologic data analysis
  • Evaluate chemical data and contaminant fate & transport
  • Analyze and visualize data including preparation of tables, maps, and figures using industry-standard and cutting-edge applications
  • Assist with environmental due diligence and regulatory compliance projects
