We seek a highly skilled senior-level groundwater scientist or Hydrogeologist with strong quantitative hydrogeology background for remediation and water resources projects.

Responsibilities include quantitative and qualitative interpretation of hydrogeologic systems, conceptual site model development, remedial system design, and aquifer test analysis. Apply advanced analytical/numerical groundwater flow and transport modeling to support environmental projects. Conduct geostatistical analysis, tracer tests, and subsurface characterization activities like soil borings and well installation.

Perform field work at sites impacted by hazardous substances in soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water. Communicate closely with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies while reviewing junior staff work products. Assist with technical reports, work plans, proposals, figures, maps, and project-related research.

Mentor junior staff to develop their careers and prepare internal/external technical presentations for thought leadership. Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures with attention to detail and strong work ethic. Join a collaborative community passionate about high-quality work products.

Requirements

  • 15 to 20 years of experience
  • MS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline
  • Knowledge of the environmental and water resources regulatory regime across the United States
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered/Professional Geologist (RG/PG)
  • 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Perform quantitative/qualitative interpretation of hydrogeologic systems
  • Develop conceptual site models (CSM)
  • Design remedial systems and supply/remediation wells
  • Conduct aquifer test design, analysis, and water resource evaluations
  • Apply analytical/numerical groundwater flow and transport modeling
  • Oversee subsurface characterization, soil borings, well installation, and sample collection
  • Communicate and work closely with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies
  • Review work products by junior staff and mentor their careers
