Join as an EIR Geologist/Hydrogeologist to conduct field-based Phase II environmental investigations and sampling.

Perform primarily field-based work (85–100%), including Phase II subsurface investigations with drilling oversight, site inspections, and groundwater, air, soil, and system sampling. Support petroleum and hazardous waste projects alongside experienced professional consultants. Serve as an Environmental Scientist for the San Antonio office and Central Texas projects.

Work independently on assigned tasks with limited supervision using strong technical and organizational skills. Collaborate in office and field settings, traveling overnight within Texas and other regions as needed. Apply relevant experience including HAZWOPER training, subsurface drilling, and sampling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field
  • One year of professional experience preferred
  • Preferred experience in a similar role with an environmental or engineering company in Texas
  • Ability to relocate to the San Antonio, Texas metro area
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office® and Teams; CADD or GIS a plus
  • Strong task management, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Phase II environmental site assessments, including subsurface drilling and soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling
  • Ability to conduct field drilling oversight, sampling, equipment operation, and prepare field documentation and reports

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Phase II environmental site assessments and underground storage tank and remediation projects
  • Support petroleum and hazardous waste projects with experienced professional consultants
  • Serve as an Environmental Scientist for the San Antonio office and Central Texas projects
