Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
2 years of experience in GIS, data science, data engineering, or cloud programming or demonstrated equivalency
Experience in SQL and database management/development
Experience with the ESRI suite, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, Hubs, Dashboards, Experience Builder, and ArcGIS for Power BI
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Query
Valid US Driver’s License and pass AECOM's motor vehicle records review
Pass a drug screening as a condition of employment
Experience with API frameworks such as ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python, R-ArcGIS, CityWorks API, Flask, and Django (preferred)

Responsibilities

Ensure seamless adoption of new tools and processes with minimal oversight
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture and assemble large, complex data sets to meet business requirements
Identify, design, and implement process improvements including automating manual workflows, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for scalability
Maintain infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from diverse sources using SQL and Azure Big Data technologies for GIS consumption
Build analytics tools to provide actionable insights, improve operational efficiency, and track key business performance metrics
Develop custom tools and widgets for ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise
Collaborate with stakeholders to address data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs
