Field Geologist

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking a full-time Field Geologist for our Somerset, New Jersey office. Responsibilities include construction observation and testing of soil, concrete, and other materials. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with overtime at time and a half and occasional weekend work.

GTA provides Personal Protective Equipment including High Visibility Vest, Hard Hat, Gloves, and Safety Glasses. This position requires standing for extended periods and repetitive motions such as lifting or hammering. Employees must use hands to handle, finger or feel; reach, climb or balance; crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel and sit; see and smell with close, distance, peripheral, depth vision and focus.
