About this role

Perform G&G evaluation in PSCs and New Venture evaluations to define exploration prospects and identify prospective drilling locations that could result in an economically viable project. Work with other disciplines to provide integrated, detailed subsurface descriptions of undiscovered and discovered resources and onstream fields. Support commercially attractive investment and drilling opportunities.

Utilise all available subsurface data to generate integrated descriptions of key geological attributes via maps, log and seismic correlations, depth and stratigraphic charts. Assemble, correlate, and arrange geological and geophysical models and maps. Perform geological and structural interpretations to deliver structural and attribute maps including play fairway analyses.

Work effectively within an integrated team, maintaining open communications with peers and a common sense of purpose. Use knowledge and skills to contribute and impact peers within the section and JV Partners or other stakeholders. Monitor drilling and wellsite operations while supporting data capture and HSSE.

Apply knowledge in Sedimentology and Stratigraphy for evaluation of Carbonates, Clastic and other emerging plays. Perform hydrocarbon resource assessment, risking and ranking from a geological viewpoint. Contribute to continuous improvement of exploration systems, processes and practices, and assist in preparing G&G reports for approvals.
