About this role
Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer or Geologist to join our growing team in Greenwood Village, CO. In this role, you will tackle clients’ most meaningful challenges in the built and natural environments, helping build stronger communities through technical excellence and continuous learning.
Your day-to-day work will involve conducting site and subsurface monitoring for environmental projects, including soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring remediation systems, and overseeing contractor environmental construction activities. You will also compile, reduce, and analyze field data using spreadsheets and other tools, preparing written reports, proposals, and cost estimates for client deliverables.
You will work on diverse project teams with highly skilled professionals in a dynamic environment, supporting client meetings and work scope development. This position requires frequent office work combined with occasional travel to job sites and field activities, followed by office-based analysis and reporting.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Geology.
- 3+ years of related experience including evaluation of environmental data and presentation of technical solutions in written and oral formats.
- Professional Engineering or Geology registration, or ability to obtain within one year.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with clients and team members.
- Commitment to maintaining membership in one professional society or technical organization in your discipline or primary area of technical interest.
- Ability to plan and perform all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine data collection, synthesis, and analysis using approved procedures appropriate for your discipline.
- Compile, reduce, analyze, manage, and report field, instrumentation, geological, and/or environmental data using spreadsheets and other tools.
- Prepare written reports, proposals, cost estimates, and other client deliverables, including technical sections of project communications.
- Support client meetings, presentations, and work scope development.
- Conduct on-site monitoring and observation of contractor environmental-related construction activities.
- Monitor subsurface exploration activities (e.g., test borings, geoprobes, monitoring wells) to collect soil, bedrock, groundwater, and other pertinent information.
- Conduct soil and groundwater sampling in accordance with applicable ASTM standards, company procedures, and other industry guidelines.
- Perform routine data collection and optimization activities for remediation systems.
