Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology or related field.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Proficient technical writing, verbal communication, reasoning, and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently or with minimal direction in performing tasks under the direction of senior staff.
• Desire to learn and grow in your profession, demonstrating a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct field investigations and assessments of soil, groundwater, surface water, etc., using approved industry standard procedures.
• Conduct or observe hydrogeologic field testing such as pumping tests and in-situ permeability testing.
• Use results of field investigations including subsurface explorations, monitoring well construction, and field sampling to support hydrogeologic site characterization.
• Support hydrogeologic data organization, reduction, and synthesis.
• Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of field activities and data evaluation.
• Apply academic training and use computer software to perform calculations and evaluate site data.
• Draft technical sections of project communications and reports.
• Assist with development of technical scopes of work and cost estimating for proposal efforts on small- to medium-sized tasks or project opportunities.
