2Excel Aviation Ltd seeks a Geospatial and Remote Sensing Analyst for an entry-level role providing data processing and analysis support to innovative national-scale projects by the 2Excel Geo team. The position involves image registration, digitising, data management, and implementing automated processing workflows. Candidates will contribute to model calibration, deliverable preparation, and report writing.

Daily tasks include performing data quality checking, working to deadlines in mapping services, and achieving high accuracy in geospatial analysis. Requirements

  • Undergraduate/Master’s degree or relevant experience in remote sensing, geomatics, GIS, photogrammetry, image processing, surveying
  • Experience with GIS software e.g. QGIS and proficiency with geospatial vector/raster formats
  • Knowledge of coordinate reference systems
  • Awareness of remote sensing and image processing
  • Experience with photogrammetry software e.g. Correlator3D, Pix4D
  • Experience with remote sensing software e.g. ENVI
  • Awareness of geospatial programming languages e.g. Python, IDL, R, JavaScript
  • Passion about and relevant experience in the environmental sector or projects

Responsibilities

  • Provide data processing and analysis support for national-scale projects
  • Perform image registration and digitising
  • Manage data and implement automated processing/analysis workflows
