We have an opening for a Mid- to Senior-level Geologist in our Irvine, California office. Manage small to regional multi-disciplined projects and develop technical approaches for site characterization activities. Prepare proposals, manage budgets, subcontractors, and communicate with clients and regulators.

Requirements

  • Professional registration in California as a Geologist (PG)
  • 8 to 15 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology or similar
  • Experience completing fieldwork and managing projects subject to regulatory review in California
  • Knowledgeable with California and Federal environmental regulations, including RCRA and CERCLA
  • Extensive experience managing environmental investigations, drilling programs, and sampling environmental media
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Manage small to regional multi-disciplined projects
  • Develop and implement technical approaches for completing site characterization activities
  • Prepare written proposals, manage project budgets and subcontractors, and communicate with project managers, clients, and regulators
  • Provide technical training and support to staff
  • Oversee environmental investigations and drilling programs
  • Conduct sampling of various types of environmental media
  • Manage projects subject to regulatory review and oversight in California
