As an Environmental Remediation Scientist/Geologist, perform environmental data evaluation, technical writing, field activities, and field services assistance at remediation sites for petroleum, retail gasoline, and utilities clients across New Jersey. This hybrid position requires at least one day per week in the Hamilton, NJ office. Plan and oversee soil and groundwater remedial investigations.
Communicate with Kleinfelder staff, subcontractors, and clients while ensuring quality execution of tasks. Manage subcontractors for environmental sampling and construction activities. Participate in Kleinfelder’s safety culture and maintain laboratory samples and field equipment.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, or related discipline
- 4-8 years of experience in environmental work
- Soil and/or ground water sample collection experience
- Strong technical writing skills
- Experience with preparing regulatory reports, Site Investigation Reports, Remedial Investigation Reports, and Remedial Action Reports
- Experience with various contaminants including chlorinated compounds, petroleum compounds, PCBs, PFAS compounds, and metals
- Experience with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
