About this role

This position is open for our Birmingham, Bristol, Derby, Epsom, Glasgow, London, Oxford, Peterborough and Manchester offices but we can be flexible with location. Do you have the ambition, enthusiasm and technical capability to work with us as a senior hydrogeologist within the water resources sector?

You will work with our hydrogeologist technical leads and other technical disciplines in winning, delivering and managing our portfolio of groundwater projects and developing trusted client relationships. You are likely to undertake and delegate complex problem solving that may include data gathering and processing, calculations and modelling, conceptualization, reporting, proposal writing and costing.

Requirements

  • Experienced hydrogeologist who has led and delivered groundwater related project tasks in the UK and/or internationally.
  • Ideally chartered with the technical knowledge and project/bid skills to undertake work to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Work with hydrogeologist technical leads and other disciplines in winning, delivering and managing the portfolio of groundwater projects and developing trusted client relationships.
  • Champion high standards of performance and influence project development to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Undertake and delegate complex problem solving including data gathering and processing, calculations and modelling, conceptualization, reporting, proposal writing and costing.
  • Work closely with the groundwater resources team, delegating to, reviewing the work of and mentoring more junior staff.
  • Collaborate with other technical disciplines in the Water Management Consultancy team to deliver integrated project outcomes.
