Undertake day-to-day responsibility for planning, supervision, and programming of Ground Investigation projects throughout the United Kingdom. Prepare Health & Safety documentation, manage operative safety, and promote safe environments during site works. Liaise with clients, engineers, and main contractors throughout project phases.

Requirements

Qualified to degree level in a geotechnical discipline
Full UK driving licence
Minimum level of fitness for site-based tasks on construction sites, roads, and railways
5-10 years relevant site and industry experience
Extensive ground investigation experience
Background in geotechnical disciplines
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team

Responsibilities

Plan, supervise, and program Ground Investigation projects throughout the United Kingdom
Prepare Health & Safety documentation prior to and during site works
Assist with managing Health & Safety of operatives and promote safe working environments
Liaise with clients, engineers, and main contractors throughout site works phase
Compile monthly financial project accounts
Assist GI Projects Manager in maintaining financial performance of projects
Lead complex ground investigation projects
Interpret ground conditions from site investigations
