Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in geology, geological sciences, or related field
At least 5 years of experience performing science-related tasks on environmental projects in government and commercial environments
40 Hour HAZWOPER training required
Knowledge of and experience with federal clients such as USACE, AFCEC
Experience in CERCLA, RCRA, and TSCA
ArcGIS and AutoCAD experience preferred
Broadly applied software including Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

Assist in development of Work Plans for sampling, analyzing, and reporting concentrations of contaminants in air, groundwater, surface water, marine environment, sediments, and soil
Assist in development of project figures, boring logs, and other technical graphic materials
Assist with technical tasks such as work plan and report preparation for client documents
Plan and direct environmental remediation and monitoring efforts in the field
Assist in development, production, and delivery of technical documents to meet project schedules and quality standards
Assist in management of projects in accordance with corporate and contract health and safety requirements
Assist in preparation of progress reporting documents including weekly and monthly status reports
