In this role, you will independently conduct field investigations and assessments of soil, groundwater, and surface water using approved industry standard procedures. You will also conduct or observe hydrogeologic field testing such as pumping tests and in-situ permeability testing to support site characterization.
You will work with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment, supporting a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. Your work will include preparing detailed documentation, drafting technical sections of reports, and assisting with proposal efforts on small- to medium-sized tasks.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology or related field.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Proficient technical writing, verbal communication, reasoning, and time-management skills.
- Able to work independently or with minimal direction in performing tasks under the direction of senior staff.
- Desire to learn and grow, demonstrating a positive attitude, strong work ethic, resourcefulness, flexibility, and ownership.
- Able to meet physical requirements: lift 50 lbs., traverse unstable/sloping sites, work outside in a range of weather conditions, and have stamina for moderate physical activity.
- Able to travel to work locations that may require overnight stays.
Responsibilities
- Independently conduct field investigations and assessments of soil, groundwater, and surface water using approved industry standard procedures.
- Conduct or observe hydrogeologic field testing such as pumping tests and in-situ permeability testing.
- Use results of field investigations to support hydrogeologic site characterization.
- Support hydrogeologic data organization, reduction, and synthesis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of activities in the field and during data evaluation.
- Apply academic training and use computer software to perform calculations and evaluate site data.
- Draft technical sections of project communications and reports.
- Assist with development of technical scopes of work and cost estimating for proposal efforts on small- to medium-sized tasks.
