About this role
Arcadis is seeking a Hydrogeologist to join our team in Arizona, Colorado, Utah, or Nevada. In this role, you will support the design and implementation of site characterization efforts, analyze data, and develop conceptual models to help progress projects through site investigation, remedial evaluation, and toward closure.
The successful candidate will work with project teams to establish data needs, evaluate available information, and deliver key projects to exceed client expectations. Work will include a balance of hydrogeologic evaluation, project scoping and proposal development, and report writing.
Arcadis offers a flexible working environment and follows a hybrid work structure. A successful candidate will work remotely and from the office based on demands of project and client teams. This role will primarily be office based but will also include field assignments.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hydrogeology, Hydrology, or related field
- 5+ years of related experience
- Strong ability to interpret data, identify and address data gaps, and communicate investigation findings
- Ability to work independently and build teams to support diverse project needs
- Proficiency interpreting geologic conditions, aquifer hydraulics, and high resolution water level data sets
- Experience conducting contaminant fate and transport analyses and plume stability evaluation
- Experience evaluating groundwater-surface water interactions
- Proficiency using hydrogeologic modeling software such as AQTESOLV, MODFLOW, or Groundwater Vistas
Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of site characterization efforts and develop conceptual models
- Plan and lead hydrogeologic investigations including aquifer parameter estimation and groundwater fate and transport evaluation
- Perform analytical and numerical groundwater modeling and evaluate groundwater-surface water interactions
- Prepare work planning documents and data summary reports for internal and external teams
- Interact with diverse project teams that span technical disciplines and geographies
- Conduct field assignments and travel up to 20% as required by project needs
