You will lead contaminated land projects for mining and resource clients, while also contributing to infrastructure, energy, and development sectors. You will design and deliver robust investigations, including conceptual site models, defensible sampling plans, and clear decision logic. Requirements
- Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 8-15+ years of experience in contaminated land assessment and remediation.
- Strong knowledge of WA's regulatory frameworks (Contaminated Sites Act, NEPM schedules).
- Full Australian working rights and a valid manual driver's licence.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering contaminated land investigations, including conceptual site models and sampling plans.
- Ideally, experience in the resource sector or with mining clients.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear reports and solutions that meet regulatory and auditor expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead contaminated land projects for mining and resource clients, while contributing to infrastructure, energy, and development sectors.

- Turn complex data into practical solutions and reports that regulators and auditors trust.
- Mentor and support the next generation of environmental professionals.
- Provide expert guidance on WA's regulatory frameworks (Contaminated Sites Act, NEPM schedules) to shape rehabilitation and land-use planning.
- Manage contamination risks across diverse sectors including oil & gas, defence, and land development.
- Deliver site investigations, remediation strategies, PFAS investigations, and risk assessments for major clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure sustainable land-use outcomes.
