As a Contaminant Hydrogeologist, join the Western Canadian ARRM team to manage contaminated site projects from assessment to remediation. Teammates collaborate across disciplines to deliver scalable environmental solutions.
Oversee site assessment, remediation, and monitoring project scopes, timelines, and budgets while communicating with clients and stakeholders. Prepare and review technical correspondence, proposals, work plans, cost estimates, and reports. Ensure high-quality delivery through internal collaboration and innovative support systems.

Requirements
- Expertise in identifying, assessing, protecting, and remediating contaminated natural and built environments
- Ability to manage contaminated site assessment, remediation, and monitoring projects
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports, proposals, and work plans for contaminated sites
- Knowledge of groundwater contaminant transport and hydrogeological investigations
- Familiarity with environmental regulations for site remediation in Western Canada
- Skills in groundwater sampling, monitoring, and remediation technologies
- Experience reviewing cost estimates and project budgets for environmental projects
Responsibilities
- Actively participate and drive Montrose’s strong safety culture
- Oversee and technically support management of site assessment, remediation, and monitoring project scopes, timelines, budgets
- Prepare and review technical correspondence, proposals, work plans, cost estimates, and reports
- Provide technical project direction and mentorship to junior scientists and project managers
- Manage and provide technical leadership for simple to complex contaminated site projects
- Communicate and liaise with clients and project stakeholders to maintain and grow project work
- Ensure internal communication and collaboration to deliver high-quality products to clients
