Madrid, ES · Full-time · €45,000 – €70,000

About this role

osapiens is creating a new department focused on geospatial analytics using cutting-edge analytics for satellite data and large-scale machine learning pipelines on distributed systems. The team develops algorithms combining deep learning, custom ML, and statistics for generalization, robustness, and explainability. At the core is a proprietary deforestation detection algorithm monitoring thousands of farms daily.

On a typical day, design and implement geospatial analytics with state-of-the-art deep learning and statistics. Research methods from computer vision and AI to apply to remote sensing. Engineer prototype methods into enterprise-grade production systems and analyze performance from production pipelines.

Translate customer requests and regulatory requirements into algorithmic solutions while shaping the product roadmap with data science and satellite expertise. Projects include using masked autoencoders for generalization, improving change detection in time-series data, and fusing SAR, optical, and LIDAR for near-real-time monitoring. Collaborate in a dynamic, hypothesis-driven environment.

Join a purpose-driven mission tackling complex challenges with global industry pioneers. Enjoy room for creativity through collaborative teamwork, hybrid work flexibility, and inspiring workspaces in Madrid and beyond. Benefit from growth opportunities, sustainable mobility, and fun team events.
