About this role

The Geophysicist is a member of the client deliverables team, responsible for all aspects relating to the management of geoscience reporting projects, the supervision of project teams, and the interpretation and reporting of geophysical survey data in accordance with documented procedures and work instructions.

Interns assist the Team Leader in the coordination of activities within the respective department. They handle the management and collation of geo-related data. Interns also contribute to the generation of client deliverables.

This office-based role is situated in the Data Centre in Jakarta, Indonesia. Interns support marine survey geophysics operations within a professional team environment focused on client projects.

The student internship targets university sophomores through graduates pursuing relevant degrees. It requires a minimum of twelve continuous weeks availability, providing direct involvement in geophysical data handling and reporting.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geophysics, Geology, Oceanography (Physical) or a closely related discipline
  • Current university or college level: Sophomore through Senior or Graduate Student
  • Minimum cumulative and Major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Interest and some experience in ESRI ArcGIS, AutoCAD and data processing software packages
  • Minimum of twelve continuous weeks availability for the internship
  • Right to live and intern in Indonesia
