Prepare documents such as Phase I, Phase II, RAR reports and workplans with no oversight, synthesize analytical data, and develop conceptual site models. Manage tasks including preparation of proposals and cost estimates, field team management, schedule management, and project organization. Intermittent field work or oversight may be required based on project needs.
Serve as a technical leader and recognized expert in field of practice. Provide regulatory compliance consulting services as an authority in field of specialty. This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team, working collaboratively to plan, design, build, and modernize infrastructure.
Review and assist in compiling technical reports and documents prepared by others. May prepare and present technical papers and reports. For more than 80 years, our experts have delivered critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities while promoting economic growth, enhancing mobility, and increasing sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a science curriculum related to the assigned discipline
- Master's Degree preferred
- 15+ years of related work experience, including experience as a task leader
- Strong familiarity with CT DEEP Laws and Regulations and Technical Requirements
- Experience writing proposals, leading a proposal team, and winning new work/clients
- Ability to work self-sufficiently or as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Current 40-hour HAZWOPER Training
