As Structural Geologist, you will provide structural geology and 3D modelling expertise to ongoing exploration programs, run your own specialized projects, and coordinate R&D efforts. This role involves assisting in planning field mapping and drilling campaigns, and managing structural geology data from field and drill core. You will develop know-how in modern 3D modelling tools.

Requirements
- MSc in Geoscience with minimum of 8 years' experience in mining and exploration industry, or comparable background; PhD in relevant field meritorious
- Experience working with common industry software; advanced knowledge of Leapfrog, GOCAD, and GemPy an advantage
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Skilled communicator, result-oriented, flexible, capable of working independently and as part of a team
- EU category B driving license or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Provide expert support in planning field mapping and drilling campaigns
- Provide expert support in collection, management, interpretation, and modelling of structural geology data from field and drill core
- Develop know-how and use of modern 3D modelling tools in day-to-day operations
- Educate staff in collecting and interpreting structural geology data
- Improve understanding of mineral systems and their structural geology frameworks
- Coordinate and lead internal R&D program on digital tools and workflows for mapping, visualization, and modelling of geoscientific data
- Represent Boliden in external research projects, evaluate project proposals, and supervise MSc and PhD students
