Fortuna is seeking Senior GIS Developers/System Administrators to support our client's enterprise GIS team. This exciting opportunity suits experienced GIS professionals blending strong development expertise with full system administration skills. You will build, maintain, and optimize mission-critical GIS solutions supporting informed decision-making and operational effectiveness. US Citizen or Green Card Holder required.

You will customize and extend the VertiGIS Studio/Geocortex suite to meet business needs. Design and develop .NET web applications integrating with GIS platforms while building automation tools using Python and PowerShell. Administer ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise and Pro, managing configurations, upgrades, patches, and SSL certificates.

Troubleshoot technical issues ensuring reliable system performance in a remote teleworker setup within the United States. Work full-time Monday-Friday aligned to Pacific Time Zone collaborating with cross-functional teams. Gather requirements to deliver tailored GIS solutions in an enterprise environment.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in GIS development with strong ESRI expertise
Proficiency in .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) web application development
Hands-on experience with VertiGIS Studio / Geocortex
Strong system administration skills, including patching, upgrades, and SSL management
Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities
