About this role
AECOM's Water Division seeks a creative, motivated Geospatial Data Scientist with GIS focus for its Baltimore office. The role supports engineering, modeling, and inspection teams by automating ETL processes using Python, R, and SQL. Demonstrate strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills to thrive.

Maintain ETL infrastructure using SQL and Azure Big Data technologies for GIS consumption. Build analytics tools providing actionable insights, boosting operational efficiency and tracking key metrics. Develop custom tools and widgets for ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
- 2 years of experience in GIS, data science, data engineering, or cloud programming
- Experience in SQL and database management/development
- Experience with the ESRI suite including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, Hubs, Dashboards, Experience Builder, and ArcGIS for Power BI
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Query
- Valid US Driver’s License and pass AECOM's motor vehicle records review
- Pass drug screening as condition of employment
- Experience with API frameworks such as ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python, R-ArcGIS, CityWorks API, Flask, and Django
