  • Prior experience with SAGD and 4D seismic evaluation
  • Strong computer skills with demonstrated competency in Petrel, Seisware, and Hampson Russell software
  • Proven expertise in seismic reservoir characterization such as seismic inversion techniques, time to depth conversion, rock physics modelling, seismic geomechanics, and quantitative seismic interpretation using seismic attributes
  • Commitment to technical excellence with interpretations and presentations
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, prioritization skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills and ability to integrate and communicate with other teams, including formal presentations

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the processing and reprocessing of seismic datasets and QC stacks, gathers, and other processing outputs
  • Conduct geophysics analysis of 4D/RST/Pressure data for redevelopment, base performance assessments, LDW program, well troubleshooting, and late life planning
  • Perform time lapse inversions to generate 4D outputs for interpretation supporting reservoir and overburden understanding
  • Monitor reservoir and caprock through interpretation of timelapse seismic data combined with temperature and RST from vertical observation wells
  • Assess coalescence in and between pads and variability within field
  • Ensure knowledge and learnings are shared for future pad considerations
  • Use geophysics and 3D/4D seismic to aid operations, geosteering, and planning of SAGD/infills, redrills, and stratigraphic wells

Benefits
