Work on GIS/IT and Remote Sensing related projects for state and federal clients across the US. Typical responsibilities include data feature extraction, creating digital mapping products with various software platforms, and elevation data processing. Capture and analyze data while creating and manipulating databases.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field
0 to 3 years of experience in the GIS/Remote Sensing field
Knowledge or experience in data compilation
In-depth knowledge of ESRI's software, including ArcGIS 9x
Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to pass driving record background check

Responsibilities

Perform data feature extraction and compilation
Create a variety of digital mapping products using various software platforms
Capture and analyze data
Create and manipulate databases
Process and manipulate elevation data
