Many projects leverage Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and open-source geospatial tools to unlock location data value through mapping and spatial analysis.

Requirements

  • 3+ years proven experience in a Full Stack Engineering role
  • Strong skills in .NET, Java or Python
  • Experience with Node.js
  • Familiarity with AWS and Azure
  • Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and open-source geospatial tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and continually improve software, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines ensuring robustness and scalability, including geospatial data, GIS platforms, and open-source mapping technologies
  • Work closely with Senior and Lead Engineers, Delivery Managers, User-Centred Design, and Data Science colleagues to shape designs and deliver against plans
  • Apply the Engineering Well-Assured Framework, follow established approaches, provide accurate technical estimates, and escalate risks or issues
  • Present prototypes, solutions, and progress updates clearly to stakeholders
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with colleagues, clients, and partner organisations
  • Develop full-stack applications integrating GIS for spatial analysis and innovative mapping solutions
