The firm seeks a Project Environmental Scientist, Geologist, Engineer or Hydrogeologist to join its collaborative team in Philadelphia, PA. This role manages environmental investigation and remediation projects while delivering technically excellent services.

Perform complex analyses for engineering and environmental projects, supervise field activities, and ensure correct interpretations of findings. Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Organize, write, and edit draft proposals, reports, and other documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering (Master’s degree a plus)
  • LEED AP or PE certification
  • 6+ years of related work experience
  • Proficient in environmental due diligence
  • Knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related software
  • Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and technical analyses
  • Experience conducting environmental research and analyses
  • Skill in supervising field investigations

Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects
  • Perform complex analyses for specific portions of broader engineering and environmental projects
  • Supervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations of findings
  • Manage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines
  • Effectively organize, write and edit draft proposals, reports and other documents
  • Participate in the identification and pursuit of new clients, develop additional work within existing projects and attend business development meetings
  • Provide direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments, coach, train, and motivate staff
  • Interface effectively and professionally with clients, contractors, subcontractors, staff, project personnel, supervisors, and others
