About this role
Join AECOM in Milan as a Senior Hydrogeologist, where you will lead hydrogeological assessments, groundwater remediation strategy implementation, and monitoring at large contaminated industrial sites. You will also contribute to groundwater engineering for new development projects, working with a team of experienced professionals.
Your day-to-day involves designing and supervising hydrogeological investigations, including well installations, groundwater level surveys, and aquifer testing. You will develop hydrogeological conceptual models and 3D geological models using digital tools, and create numerical groundwater models with MODFLOW and FEFLOW.
You will collaborate closely with environmental scientists, risk assessors, and project managers to resolve complex environmental problems. This includes preparing proposals, managing budgets and schedules, and liaising with clients and regulators to ensure project success.
As part of a global team of over 50,000 professionals, you will have the opportunity to mentor and develop junior staff, while tackling diverse challenges that create tangible impact. There has never been a better time to bring your big ideas to AECOM and build legacies for future generations.
