Graduate GIS Specialist

As a Graduate GIS Specialist, read and understand spatial and non-spatial data while applying knowledge of topographical surveying, remote sensing, and satellite image processing. Digitize and create maps, including heat maps, contours, spot heights, and elevation/terrain models. Utilize commercial GIS software, preferring the ESRI suite.

Day-to-day tasks involve working with CAD software for developments, drawings generation, and preferring AutoCAD. Ensure Fugro policies and procedures are understood, implemented, and adhered to by all employees. Handle geospatial data processing central to geosciences and exploration projects.

Work within a team focused on earth science and exploration, supporting accurate mapping and data visualization. Collaborate on projects requiring precise terrain modeling and satellite imagery analysis. Contribute to maintaining high standards in GIS applications across operations.

Grow in a graduate role building expertise in GIS tools and geomatic techniques. Develop skills in remote sensing and CAD integration specific to industry needs. Advance through hands-on application of spatial analysis in real-world exploration contexts.
