About this role

In our Geographic Information Systems (GIS) department, we build systems with strong geographic components, including the future PAC teledeclaration and aid attribution platform. This exciting field is in full mutation with highly varied projects.

You participate in constructing Web GIS solutions based on open source technologies like Openlayers, Java, GDAL, and pg_tileserv. You engage with cartography, a highly visual domain, and geometry applied to the real world. Daily work follows an Agile approach adapted to the client and DevOps functioning.

Requirements

  • Fundamental knowledge in software development
  • Basic knowledge in GIS
  • Ability to apprehend new technologies and functional fields
  • Curious, motivated, and passionate about web and cloud
  • Interest in cartography and geospatial applications
  • Familiarity with open source GIS tools

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the construction of Web GIS solutions based on open source technologies (Openlayers, Java, GDAL, pg_tileserv, etc.)
  • Practice cartography, highly visual, and geometry applied to the real world
  • Work in an Agile approach adapted to the client and DevOps functioning
  • Contribute to geographic information systems for projects like PAC aid platforms
  • Develop features involving geospatial data processing and visualization
  • Integrate GIS components into web-based applications
  • Collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams handling architecture and development
