Based in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, be a vital part of the Ground & Underground Engineering and NZ Transport team. Work across infrastructure, energy, water and government sectors, advising on and delivering contaminated land investigations and remediation/management projects. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience in ARC GIS / ESDAT
- Proven experience in a similar role with 6+ years of experience
- Understanding of NES-CA and contaminated land
- Ability to lead fieldwork teams in soil, groundwater and soil gas sampling
- Skills in data quality assessments and risk assessments for contaminated sites
Responsibilities
- Lead fieldwork teams and conduct soil, groundwater and soil gas sampling and groundwater well installation
- Provide high value contaminated land investigations and technical advice on a variety of projects
- Perform data quality assessments, risk assessments and reporting
- Develop reports to exceptional technical and editorial standards while working to tight deadlines
- Support proposal and project management for the land contamination and soils team
- Advise on and deliver contaminated land investigations and remediation/management projects
- Work with clients to understand needs and apply scientific and practical thinking to solve problems
