About this role
We are creating a new department focused on geospatial analytics using cutting-edge analytics for satellite data and developing large-scale machine learning pipelines on distributed systems. Our algorithm combines deep learning, custom ML algorithms, and basic statistics, engineered for generalization across geographies, robustness, and explainability. At the core is a proprietary deforestation detection algorithm monitoring thousands of farms daily.
On a typical day, you will design and implement geospatial analytics with state-of-the-art deep learning and statistics, research methods from Computer Vision and AI for remote sensing, and engineer prototypes into enterprise-grade production systems. You will analyze performance from production pipelines, translate customer requests into data-driven solutions, and shape the product roadmap with your data science and satellite expertise.
Join a specialized team of experts in Geospatial Data Science and Remote Sensing Researchers in our Munich offices. The environment fosters collaborative teamwork, open communication, and hybrid work options for flexibility and team bonding.
Embrace a purpose-driven mission tackling complex challenges with global industry pioneers. Benefit from fuel for personal and professional growth, sustainable mobility, fun team events, and inspiring workspaces across Munich, Mannheim, Madrid, and beyond.
