About this role
Segra is searching for a qualified and experienced Lead GIS Developer to work in offices including Kansas City, MO; Charlotte, NC; Denver, CO; Richmond, VA; and others. The role oversees all GIS day-to-day activities such as data requests, geospatial queries, ETL from other systems, and app development using ESRI SDK or similar tech. The incumbent manages ESRI licenses and plans platform updates.
Day-to-day responsibilities include serving as SME on data governance, development, and automation. This involves handling geospatial queries and ETL processes efficiently. The developer ensures smooth operations across GIS platforms.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS and working with ESRI
- Knowledge of ESRI products: ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcSDE, AGOL, and ArcEngine
- Knowledge of CAD systems: M4, Visio or Autosketch
- Ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access
- Ability to understand network diagrams/maps, learn network terminologies, and problem-solve on the fly
- Understanding of critical mapping techniques through multiple mapping programs
- Ability to manage multiple workloads with rapid deadlines
- Willingness to learn new technology and adjust to different ones
Responsibilities
