About this role
Schleswig-Holstein Netz GmbH plans, builds and operates electricity and gas networks in northern Germany. More than 3 million people rely daily on our networks for power and gas delivery. Join our dedicated team at the Quickborn site near Hamburg to shape the energy transition as a GIS Engineer / GIS Developer, temporary until 31.12.2027, part-time or full-time.
You analyze and model geodata for complex applications while ensuring high data quality. You capture requirements from specialist departments and implement them technically. Further develop our GIS applications like ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise in close exchange with experts.
Develop digital GIS products, automate processes and make workflows more efficient. Configure, administer and optimize GIS systems for stability and performance. Work on exciting projects such as hanse.GIS for ESRI introduction and support rollout of the new Workforce-Management-System.

Requirements
- Studium or equivalent qualification in Geoinformatik, Geografie, Informatik, Vermessung or similar
- Solid experience with ESRI technologies, especially ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Online and Utility Network
- Practical knowledge in development, automation and interfaces (Python, ArcPy, REST & JavaScript APIs)
- Routine handling of geodata and databases (SQL, PostgreSQL/PostGIS)
- Understanding of energy supply and infrastructure, ideally including utility networks, web apps and dashboards (ArcGIS Experience Builder, Dashboards, Field Maps)
- Analytical, structured working style, team spirit and fluent German; cloud/container knowledge (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
