US · Full-time · $95,000 – $135,000

About this role

USA Rare Earth is on a mission to become a leading supplier of critical materials that enable the green energy and technology revolution. We have a substantial interest in the Round Top Heavy Rare Earth, Lithium and Critical Minerals deposit in West Texas. The Geologist supports exploration and resource development as we advance toward surface mining operations.

You will analyze geological formations, collect and interpret field data, and define the deposit's size, quality, and characteristics to support mine planning. Perform on-site work at active drill sites, including core logging and sample management. Oversee daily drilling to ensure safety and data quality.

This role works closely with engineering, mining, and technical teams in a fast-paced early-stage public company. We are pioneers and problem solvers who build solutions, deliver quality, lead responsibly, and win together. Safety, sustainability, and excellence always come first.

Contribute to the United States’ first rare earth and critical minerals processing facility and the only scalable sintered neo-magnet manufacturing system in the Western Hemisphere. Help develop a fully integrated US-based mine-to-magnet supply chain. Advance resource definition for early-stage feasibility efforts.
