Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience in the Heritage, Geology or Geophysics sectors
Competent and experienced geophysical surveyor with demonstrable experience supervising teams on site
Full UK manual driving license
Willingness to work outdoors in all weathers and away from home
Self-motivated and driven
Eligible to work in the UK without restriction

Responsibilities

Support technical operations and facilities management through workshop projects
Supervise tasks covering IT, electronics, facilities, equipment maintenance and development
Conduct fieldwork averaging 40-50% of time on non-standard projects or staff training
Ensure office-based and fieldwork activities hit or exceed targets and deadlines
Lead planning of survey strategies during fieldwork on large, complex projects

Provide line management and mentoring to junior staff
