Geophysicist (Workshop Supervisor) ensure office-based and fieldwork activities hit or exceed targets and deadlines. In the field, they lead planning on survey strategies during fieldwork, including large, complex, and non-standard projects. This role demands competence in geophysical surveying and team supervision on site.
The role plays a key part in staff development and training, including line management and mentoring of junior staff. Emphasis is placed on self-motivated individuals willing to work outdoors in all weathers and away from home. The position balances workshop supervision with field leadership.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the Heritage, Geology or Geophysics sectors
- Competent and experienced geophysical surveyor with demonstrable experience supervising teams on site
- Full UK manual driving license
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weathers and away from home
- Self-motivated and driven
- Eligible to work in the UK without restriction
